"We are absolutely thrilled to have Rishit join the Syncly team as our ChiefTechnology Officer.” said Stewart Rasmussen, CEO and Founder of Syncly. “His impressive track record and deep knowledge of software development, cloud operations, platform integrations and data management will allow Syncly to continue its mission to provide law firms with a class-leading platform to help manage their data as it moves around the firm, between the multiple collaboration and work systems they use internally and with clients." he said.

Syncly provides its customers in the US, UK, EU, and APAC with seamless, no-code integrations between the firm’s systems of record, such as iManage andNetDocuments, and systems of collaboration such as HighQ, Teams and SharePoint, to securely move data between systems, ensure full control over where their data resides, help prevent data sprawl and enforce proper data governance.

Rasmussen emphasised the company's commitment to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the field of data management and governance. He stated, "We are putting together a team of industry leaders that will enable us to redefine how law firms manage, protect, and leverage their data, especially as it relates to how clients are provisioned access to sensitive data. With Rishit’s leadership, we are confident in our ability to stay at the forefront of technological advancements in software development, cloud operations and security."

During his tenure at Thomson Reuters, Patel successfully led the development of software solutions such as HighQ, he also played a pivotal role in advancing engineering processes and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to meet client needs.

Patel commented, "I am very excited to join the exceptional team at Syncly and to help lead their technology innovation in the legal industry. I firmly believe that there is a significant opportunity to help empower law firms to navigate the complex challenges of data management, governance and compliance."

The appointment of Patel follows the recently announced seed investment round from industry leader Stuart Barr, with the specific intention of enabling Syncly to invest in building a first-class leadership team.

Barr commented “I am incredibly excited to welcome Rishit to Syncly. I worked closely with him for over a decade at HighQ and his skill and expertise enabled us to deliver on our vision. I have absolutely no doubt he will do the same again here”.

Rasmussen concludes, “Handling law firm data is not for the faint-hearted, we have invested in security and scalability from day one, there are no shortcuts to success, and having an extremely high calibre team is not optional”. He continues “I am extremely excited about the possibilities in front of us as we jump headfirst into the next phase of our journey.”
