We’re excited to welcome Neal Weatherley to Syncly as our new Head of Product.

Neal brings over eight years of experience from BigHand, where he led delivery across multiple products during a period of significant growth and acquisitions. More recently, he headed product teams at Builder.ai, helping clients turn ideas into applications — an experience that sharpened his focus on customer needs and product-market fit.

When asked what drew him to Syncly, Neal recalls his first conversation with our CEO, Stewart Rasmussen: “I just walked away from that conversation feeling really positive… here was someone who genuinely cared about what they were building, and a team with the passion to make a difference. That energy was infectious.”

Neal’s philosophy is simple: start with the customer. “You can’t solve the right problems if you’re too far from the people experiencing them. Listening first, then shaping solutions — that’s where product really comes alive.”

Joining in time for the launch of Syncly Govern, Neal is already diving into early feedback and shaping what’s next. “Right now, I’m in sponge mode. It’s about understanding the moving parts, hearing from customers, and helping decide where Syncly goes next. The exciting thing is the scope, there are so many opportunities, and it’s about focusing on the ones that deliver the most impact.”

Culture was also a deciding factor. “I didn’t want to be corporate. I wanted to be part of something fast-moving, where people roll up their sleeves, wear different hats, and everyone makes a real difference. High standards, low ego — and still having fun along the way.”

We’re delighted to have Neal on board, shaping products that make the complex simple and keep legal data flowing.
